Scott played with [a=Jay Whidden And His Band] (1928-1930), and after was accompanying artists such as: [a=Richard Tauber], Sir [a=Harry Lauder], [a=Beatrice Lillie], [a=Larry Adler], [a=Gracie Fields], [a=Vic Oliver], [a=Max Miller] and others.
In 1934 he led his "Scott-Wood's Six Swingers" which enjoyed a good popularity in the years 1930s.
