Dirty K is a UK based Rhythm & Noize live act duo, that appeared in early 2006 as an experimental studio project,
Both Kaysha & Ryan had always been heavily into Electronic music for a long time beforehand.
After many radio plays and interest in their music they both decided they had enough material to make
a live show.
Their first show was at a local allday festival called Zeitgeist which they headlined; since then they have had
gigs up and down the UK, some of which have been at the legendary Slimelight club in London, as well as the UK
Dirty K have also played at Antyscena Festival in Gdynia, Poland.
Sharing the stage with the likes of Mono No Aware, Iszoloscope, The PCP Principle, Wieloryb, Winterkaelte, Synapscape and Sabes.
Whilst keeping a refreshing yearly gig appearance they have also
maintained a very busy studio schedule. Up to date they have released 4 full length albums- with one due next month- and a number of E.P's, remixes and compilation tracks under their belt.
Both Kaysha and Ryan are responsible for production/programming and live shows as well as being heavily involved in their own design work.
They have a very distinctive sound which can only be described as a soundtrack to the Apocalypse;
a blend of unavoidable Ambient Drones, Industrial and a relentless
onslaught of powerful distorted beats aimed at the dancefloor, to give you an explosive earbleeding experience,
Whilst music is only an absorption of the mind it is hard not to understand or appreciate the Blasting beats,
the haunting Drone lines and the pounding bass that can only be described as Dirty K.
In January 2012 Dirty K were signed to the seminal HANDS label, which will see them live on stage at the Forms Of Hands
Fesitval in Germany in April 2012 and will see the release of their brand new CD album "Torrent of Fury"; expect from this
album a barrage of powerful distortion and broken beats, enveloped in eerie drones along with some harsh percussion.
